Heart of Greater Washington Leadership
In 2024, the American Heart Association celebrated 100 years as a relentless force for longer, healthier lives. As we move into our second century, we recognize our work is more important now than ever before. Our centennial milestone was coupled with our 2024 Impact Goal of ensuring every person has the opportunity for a full, healthy life. Every person means working with every community and that is why our Executive Leadership is so important. The Heart of Greater Washington Campaign is a catalyst for this work.

The American Heart Association (AHA), Greater Washington Region has named Srini Attili, Executive Vice President, Civilian Business Group at SAIC, as chair of the 2025 Heart of Greater Washington campaign. Culminating with the Heart Ball celebration on April 5, 2025, the year-round campaign unites individuals and companies across the DC metro area to raise life-saving funds that fuel innovations in cardiovascular science and advance health and hope for all. A goal of the Heart of Greater Washington campaign is to remove barriers to equitable health with a focus on nutrition security, CPR education, hypertension control and more.
A leader in digital, analytics and technology for the public and health sectors, Attili brings extensive experience in working with business and technology leaders to develop and execute strategies that harness digital technologies, transform mission operations and achieve client goals.
“I am honored to serve as Chair of the Heart Ball and to be part of the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association,” said Attili. “As someone who has witnessed first-hand the impact of heart disease in my family, this mission is deeply personal. Statistically, Asian men face a much higher risk of heart disease driven by genetic factors, yet awareness is still far from where it needs to be. The Heart Ball represents a commitment to advancing education, driving research, and expanding outreach to ensure that everyone has the tools and resources to protect their heart health.”
