The American Heart Association Golf Tournament is a captain’s choice scramble that supports the fight against heart disease and stroke. Join us at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD for breakfast, 18 holes of golf at one of the region’s premiere clubs, a silent auction, exciting challenges, and an awards dinner to follow.

Woodmont Country Club has recently been chosen by the United States Golf Association (USGA) as the host site for the 2025 and 2026 U.S. Adaptive Opens and the 2028 U.S. Junior Amateur. This selection marks the USGA’s first return to Maryland since 2021, making this tournament an exclusive opportunity to play on this distinguished course prior to the USGA competitions.

For over a century, the American Heart Association has saved and improved lives, pioneered scientific discovery and advocated for healthy public policies in communities across the country. These bold moves have helped transform the nation's overall health and significantly reduce heard disease and stroke death rates.

As champions for health equity, by 2025, the American Heart Association will advance cardiovascular health for all, including identifying and removing barriers to health care access and quality. Because every person deserves the opportunity for a full, healthy life. This event plays an important role of helping to raise funds in support of our mission, while promoting physical activity of its participants.

The Need is Clear
Since the AHA’s founding in 1924, deaths from cardiovascular diseases have been cut in half. And yet, there are still so many lives to be saved. Recently, death rates have worsened, and equity gaps have widened. Solutions are not getting to the people who need them the most. We are committed to change that.

2028 Impact Goal
Building on over 100 years of trusted leadership in cardiovascular and brain health, by 2028 the AHA will drive breakthroughs and implement proven solutions in science, policy and care for healthier people and communities. The greatest discoveries in health must reach people where they are.
