The American Heart Association is proud to honor our exceptional annual, lifetime and legacy donors through our national philanthropic society – the Cor Vitae Society.
Latin for “heart of life,” the Cor Vitae Society is the annual philanthropic giving society of the American Heart Association. The society celebrates individual Annual Members making yearly gifts of $5,000 or more, Lifetime Members recognizing those whose cumulative gifts are $500,000 or more, and Legacy Members who have committed to a future of heart health for all by leaving a gift in their will or estate plan.
Our Annual and Lifetime Members give through local events such as Heart Walk, Heart Ball, and more and support other mission-aligned initiatives through their gifts.
Named for one of the Association’s founding fathers, our Paul Dudley White Legacy Circle Members have ensured the promising future of heart and brain health through their planned gift through their estate plan.
Our members support scientific advances, community health education programs, and advocacy and outreach efforts to ensure longer, healthier lives for people everywhere. The collective impact of our more than 10,000 Cor Vitae Society members making annual, lifetime, and legacy gifts is truly incredible.
